Let’s wipe down the chain, clean it, and lubricate it.
Remove the side stand and clean and lubricate it too. Lubricating the spring hook top and bottom will keep it smooth.
Sealed bearing. We drip oil from the outside and let it soak in. No grinding sensation, so we’re good.
Throttle sleeve and accelerator cable cleaning and lubrication.
Front and rear caliper cleaning and piston operation check. Condition is excellent.
We replaced the fluid with Golden Cruiser DOT4.
Better late than never—I recently found a handy tool, so I lifted the front and brought the fork to atmospheric pressure. A little “pshhh” came out.
USB installation request. It’s hard to find a nice one these days.
Mounting it around the handlebar area would be annoying, so a simple, unobtrusive placement that doesn’t feel out of place might be better.
That’s how it turned out. It’s properly waterproof.
After confirming 5V output, we’re done.
