It takes a bit of muscle, but it comes off without cutting.
Protect the spigot first, then apply gasoline-resistant liquid sealant.
When swapping in an aftermarket carburettor, you don’t necessarily have to replace the throttle holder. There’s no need to force a bundle purchase.
When you might need to:
• Replace the switch holder with something different (want a thinner one)
• The throttle cable length or number of cables differs
• You want to change the throttle opening
If it looks like it’ll work as-is, it’s sometimes better to use it first and then decide.
The silencer, or rather the brass collar, comes as a standard part. You just need to cut threads and drill a hole in it.
When I make throttle cables, I set the adjustment to maximum, stretch everything out, cut it tight at the position where I want it, and then assemble it. Then I back it off and adjust it into place.
The important thing is that the inner cable isn’t too short.
Everyone’s different, so take this as just a reference.
Remove the Suzuki throttle bumps before using it.

The center link breather was tight, so I made a vented version.
I used a bead roller a bit, but forgive me if the raised part isn’t perfect.
I came up with version 2… maybe next time.
