Starting with the chain and sprocket, we carefully clean every accessible spot.

We add Fuel One to the tank.

While we have it open, we spray on rust preventative oil and wipe it down—that might boost the rust protection a bit.

While we’re at it, we brush the key and remove any debris from the grooves—it comes out looking nice and clean.

*Leaving it unchanged causes sediment to build up and circulate, which leads to unnecessary problems.

The radiator cap still looks fine, so we reuse it.

We cleaned all three calipers. No rust, and they’re working great.

We did a full fluid change to Golden Cruiser DOT4.

We lubricated the levers and we’re done.
