VF400 Inspection (New Plan) Idle Adjuster Remote Control

The popular Inspection (New Plan) pairs with remote control idle adjustment to make that tricky tuning easy.
On the left is the original M4 with ultra-fine pitch. On the right is the Honda remote control. The plan is to dock them together.
The scorched areas where some insulation was lost are covered with heat shrink tubing.
The remote control side is cut to 5φ, and the idle screw is M4, so we drilled 4φ/5φ holes in an iron collar, inserted it, and welded it. Tack welding is sufficient.
Done. Now idle adjustment is easy from outside. The throttle feels a bit too light—the return seems sluggish—so we beefed up the return spring to fix it.
We changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50 10W-50 and replaced the oil filter.
