The rain just keeps coming—doesn’t the mood take a nosedive when the clouds stick around?
I really do think summer is the best.
And just like that, we’re done with the tire replacement.
I really do love Michelin. When it comes to classic racing tires, Michelin is what comes to mind!
The logo and design are burned into the minds of us older folks, I’d say.
Better late than never, but…
I’m going to start keeping track of the actual tire measurements from now on.
You really should know this stuff…
If I could also measure the diameter, that would be perfect.
Both sides checked out fine.
If it came back squeaking from contact with the torque rod, that would be a real letdown.
I need to think about clearance too.
The bearing operates fine. The outer metal seal has some impact marks, though. (No problem.)
The small parts are dirty too, so I’ll polish them and apply Guncoat.
A little attention and it cleans right up.
And that’s how we finished up the tire replacement!
