We’ll also replace the starter valve.
Since we’ll reuse the float valve, it’s a good idea to clean it with a cotton swab (pointed end).
At this level it’s still good to go. We’ve decided to keep using it.
Hands-off kneading wash gets it pretty supple. It’s quite nice stuff.
Next we check the float level against the actual fuel surface, and the carburettor is assembled and done.
