Before I knew it, we’re at the end of February—time flies, doesn’t it?
Anyway,
I’m quietly working away every day while being nervous about the new coronavirus.
On days off and otherwise, I’m keeping outings to a minimum and staying on high alert.
You might say there’s no need to worry that much, but???
If you’re self-employed and get infected, it pretty much feels like the business is done for, right?
If I were to get infected… I really don’t want to think about it.
• For years to come, both the shop and I would carry that history…
• Maybe I’d have to disinfect everything in the shop?
• Maybe I’d have to disinfect my home too?
Don’t you think about things like that? Right?
Not getting infected is the top priority. Hand washing, gargling, face washing, and masks—I’m taking every precaution.
I go through each day with the mindset that if I get it, there’s no getting better.
We’ve had carburettor maintenance done before and it’s been running great, but
last time we couldn’t do polishing and other work due to equipment limitations, so the appearance is just so-so.
This time, even though it’s used, the owner wants us to pick the best of both worlds and get it done.
I’m staring intently, wondering which one to go with.
I’m agonizing over each plate.
There’s some suspicious MJ in here, but what could it be?
It was seized and wouldn’t come out at all—I was like “oh no” again, but somehow we managed to be safe.
