I suppose… but I’ve never felt like everything was this suspicious.
There was the nuclear accident on March 11, 2011, which I’ll admit was sketchy too…
Regarding this new COVID-19 coronavirus,
the government and WHO don’t seem to be showing their true intentions—whether they’re fully committed or just half-hearted.
It feels like the government is hiding something…
Close contact means
① proximity and ② duration. It’s when you touch someone without necessary infection prevention measures, or when you’re within arm’s reach facing each other (roughly 2 meters as a guideline) for prolonged contact. If close contact occurs, you’re considered a close contact.
Pretty much any conversation counts as close contact…
Prolonged contact, though…
When I think about it…
despite that massive earthquake, people didn’t stockpile…
despite those typhoons. People didn’t stockpile…
Right now, I think every choice is left to each individual.

As you probably know…
If you suspect COVID-19 infection, it seems ambulances will transport you, but they coordinate with the health department for transport.
Regular hospitals generally won’t accept you.
For example, if you get infected, run a fever of 37.5 degrees and wait four days, and things don’t improve, it might be “too late already.”
First, wash your hands, wear a mask, and gargle properly.

About the claim that masks have no evidence of effectiveness…
Anyone would think that having a filter before you breathe in is better than nothing…
Some say the virus is smaller than mask filters anyway…
But couldn’t the virus still stick to the filter?
About COVID-19 mask alternatives I looked into on Amazon…
↑I’ve written some alternative ideas there too.
Finally, even the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is saying wear a mask when you go out.
The WHO’s advice on mask use for COVID-19 is “healthy people don’t need them,”
which is the complete opposite opinion, and public sentiment is turbulent…
Always use your own judgment and decide responsibly.

For example…
tissue and toilet paper. We have plenty! No need to worry!
Hoarding is a no-go.
But
in my opinion, stockpiling is a yes.
If we run out of toilet paper, it’s really bad!
Stock what you need, then stop! Don’t buy more than necessary! That’s what I think.
And absolutely no reselling!
My guess is
if we keep selling and supplying at this pace, we’ll run out, so don’t panic. I sense that intention.
At normal rates, we’d be fine…
For example,
hospitals and facilities that really need supplies can’t get them—that’s the problem.
Everything comes down to staying calm and not panicking.
With this new COVID-19 coronavirus,
not getting infected is what matters most.
In my view, if you take it lightly, you’ll really suffer.
I wish I could hear from people who got infected and recovered…
Everything is just speculation, and it’s terrifying.
I think the key is to boost your immunity and try not to get infected.
If an earthquake hit now… at an evacuation center… oh, that’s scary!
