Changing this bulb… what am I doing? I hate myself for it.

After looking into it more, it seems the same-shaped socket is discontinued.
Isn’t the important thing that a socket plugs and unplugs easily?
So I decided to swap it for a T-10 wedge! That’s the plan.
The RACING one is a bit thinner on the outside, so it’s a loose fit. (；∀；)
Never give up. Using two shims to create a step, I managed to get a nice fit for plugging and unplugging. (So happy and barely made it!)
So I was able to switch to the T-10 wedge.
(The standard is BA9S.)
On the terminal side, I crimped, soldered, and added shims.
Wow, it’s bright!
But currently it has a smoked lens cover installed. We’d also like to measure the headlight output.
As you’d expect, it’s 3000 candela. (One side)
The single-seat cover cracked.
Too bad.
Stud and lock nut to handle loose tightening too.
