It’s amazing that the GPZ900R still has main harnesses being released!
I’ve been thinking lately how nice it is that manufacturers other than Suzuki are doing this.
More and more bikes that can’t be extended will increase year by year… though there are exceptions.
This is a harness replacement that only chosen people can have done (‘ω’)ノ
First, I check how the layout is arranged.
The harness probably has a starting point, and from there it branches forward and backward.
I don’t particularly stick to the original layout. I think the best approach is a layout that minimizes problems after replacement and improves serviceability.
The owner brought the harness, so I’ll use this one.
This is a harness check I always perform.
If I don’t do this, things get weird later.
Something seems off from the middle… it’s completely different.
The igniter won’t fit and the switch and main key are slightly different too.
What was installed was “A1??” and what was brought in was “A10”.
Wow, I really noticed that… just kidding.
I guess you get stronger the more painful lessons you learn. This is on hold ( ；∀；)
