Ah, a nostalgic Sportster!
By the way, we took this in for inspection back in August. The nicer you are, the longer you wait…
Things are progressing steadily now (*’▽’)

First, we’ll do a caliper overhaul.
Genuine or aftermarket? People who bought recently are mostly in a tough spot.
It’s a difficult position for both dealers and users.

These kinds of kits are sold in the home market.
I guess it’s appreciated? Or maybe it’s just how it should be…

It’s better to assemble Brembo calipers with the included grease.
With this grease, I think it’s more precise? And you can recover from mistakes… (from experience)
Always replace the O-rings.

It’s good to always inspect both old and new parts.

After the first cleaning is done, we warm it up and let it dry.

Then it’s air blowing and cotton swabs—tedious but necessary work.

Once it’s clean, let’s assemble it~

And that’s it, all done!
Using tri-chromium black bolts gives it that recent original look.

With Brembo and similar brands, using a convex-to-convex union eliminates the need for a gasket.
It’s not widely known, I think… what do you think?
Garuda or Rears are about the only places you can get them.

If we don’t need to use a gasket, that’s more efficient.
To be continued.
*By the way, the master still hasn’t arrived ( ;∀;)
