GS1200SS-2 Inspection, Oil-cooled maintenance, Fluid exchange, Headlight rattle

Oh, we replaced the silencer during the inspection, so I apologize for the low-res photos.

I polished it with a stainless steel brush—whirr, whirr! It comes out beautifully.

We replaced the generator damper. It was starting to harden a bit.

The engine damper was quite worn as well.

Tools really do make all the difference, don’t they?

GSX-R1100 (89–92), GSF1200 (all years), Inazuma 1200 (all years), GS1200SS (all years), Bandit 1200S (all years), Bandit 1200 (all years) aluminum starter clutch cover

We replaced this one too. It’s currently on backorder.

We replaced the plugs and opened up the gap. The synchronization has been adjusted too.

We’re disassembling the headlight, but… we made a mistake on the parts order, so it’s on hold for now.
