Digital meters just don’t do it for me… as an old timer.
Even with digital, I really like that blocky calculator-style font – segment display.

When I introduce overseas sites like this, there are rare cases where people misunderstand…
I’m not introducing them because they’re cheap – I’m introducing items that are hard to get in Japan.
If you can’t overcome that wall of “I really want this!”, I can’t recommend taking the plunge.
If you want STACK meters and such, you can get them domestically in Japan.
However, fine sensors and attachments can sometimes be hard to source in Japan.

It’s compatible with the ST8130 and similar. Inspection is tough, but it looks good for tuning too.
Aftermarket meters don’t work out as easily as just measuring the tire circumference…

I love this white panel and have one on my GS1000S too.
To think new ones are still available… it’s the best.
Since it’s for cars, it’s not waterproof, and the harness is thick and bulky.
There’s even a silica gel packet inside the meter…
It’s pretty rough around the edges, but that’s part of what makes it a meter I can love.
You never know when things like this will stop being available…
You can get items like this too. With domestic Japanese distribution, you basically can’t choose the length below the head.
Having choices just adds to the dilemma, but they also sell lengths that make the impossible possible.
I haven’t tried it myself, but it looks like an interesting fastener.
They say it completes in a quarter turn, but… I wonder how that works out.
The needle direction is so niche… incredibly cool…
So it’s a site where dreams expand… but it does have a somewhat… industrial feel to it.
