So what’s it really like? (*´з`)
I’ve only used it for about 30 minutes so far, but I’d like to share my initial impressions.
You can’t compare it to 100V models (*´з`)
I end up comparing it to my usual Bosch GHG660, which is a bit unfair, but it’s the only comparison point I have…*It seems to be discontinued anyway.
The air flow is decent, but the heating speed and intense heat don’t come close to 100V models.
*This is my impression after about 30 minutes of use.
However, considering it’s handheld and used for shrink tubing and sticker removal, the specs are necessary and sufficient.
After all, it’s cordless. Super convenient! (*´ω｀)
It has some weight from the battery, but it’s compact and easy to use.

The size is very appropriate and good. *Appropriate is a good thing. Careless is a bad thing.
Since it’s a heat gun, safety design is essential (*’▽’)
If it unexpectedly turned ON with the battery connected, it would easily cause a fire.
When I first picked it up, I thought “wow, this is really hard to use.”
But thinking about it more, when something is handheld, there are many potential dangers. This design is probably a consideration for that.
The temperature adjustment dial is on the back.
It has 6 levels. While it’s easy to understand, you can’t tell exactly what temperature you’re aiming for, which is a bit tough.
You learn as you use it.
Press the button and a hook pops up.
I guess it’s helpful for people who need it?
The air flow has only 1 and 2 settings. It’s quite simplified.
More adjustments aren’t always better—ease of use and simplicity matter.
Surprisingly excellent.
It’s hot! The quick-release nozzle feature is really handy.
I need to use it a bit more to really convey its merits.
To be honest, it feels a bit underpowered.
However, for standard shrink tubing it’s more than enough, but for 3/8″ and 1/4″ it takes a bit longer. Still, it does shrink them, so there’s no problem.
Either way, I think cordless is the best for heat guns.
The convenience is definitely a winner. I’ll update you again soon~
