Even though it’s water-cooled, the engine has fins—a time when creative spirit was overflowing…
How wonderful! (*^-^*)
Work is progressing step by step~

The OH scheduling went smoothly, but…
the parts scheduling wasn’t quite right.
According to the parts list it’s an external dust seal type. I ordered the same, but… wait, that’s not right.
We went back and forth like that.

In the meantime, I discovered something. I’m going to throw in an aluminum piston on my own.
It’s the Kawasaki I mentioned the other day. The price is reasonable too, so I’m grateful~

The front is being reused. Be sure to inspect the seals carefully.
Mistakes happen all the time…

The pad had marginal remaining thickness, so I replaced it.
I also did some light chamfering to ensure smooth return.

This genuine dual integrated clip Suzuki 69142-46E01
improves serviceability and prevents loss, so it’s very effective.

I also did some light deburring on the front pads.

I lubricated the speedometer cable and charged the battery.

Since removing and installing the cowl is a pain, I switched to a 110-series connector.

I think we’ve refreshed the appearance of all the parts.

34101-45D00 Speedometer/tachometer for 250 ¥28,300 before tax
That’s about what it was… Suzuki’s pricing… ( ;∀;)
34101-46D00 The 400 version appears to be discontinued.
*This probably isn’t very useful information for most people…

Tomorrow we’ll take it for a test ride and it’ll be complete (^_-)-☆
