The problem isn’t with YouTube.
YouTube takes surprisingly long when you shoot and edit.
If you rush, it gets sloppy (just like my usual videos).
And when you keep doing stuff like that, you can’t get around to the work you’ve been holding long-term.
In the end,
I was heading straight toward being a guy who wants to do everything but does it all half-heartedly with shallow knowledge (/ω).
First I need to finish my homework, and this year I want to completely overhaul how I take on work.
Basically, I’d appreciate it if only people who think Decoboco is good would ask for our services.
Doing this job means I never run out of YouTube material.
Lately I’ve accumulated all sorts of tools… I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore.
But I’ve also picked up some real eye-opening tools
“Ah, I wish I’d known about this sooner!” I feel that way very often.
What do you think?
Until now, all the work I did by hand and intuition becomes “Huh? In a second? ”
Without being trapped by fixed ideas, it might be important to pause and think: why is this tedious or annoying?
For example,
installing a helicoil isn’t hard, but it’s tediously irritating.
Honestly, I think you should stop using tanged helicoils (including recoils).
For DIY work, a recoil insert is fine if you only need one. But for a shop, I recommend using tangless inserts instead.
Accurate tangless insert
You literally just insert it.
No need to break the tang.
Removing the tang is easy too.
“Huh? What was I doing all this time?” You can work so easily you’ll think that.
I think tools should really be like this.
They should be user-friendly to everyone without needing tricks or finesse.
I think you can retire the old helicoils and switch at least M4, M5, and M6 sizes to these.
*Though I’ll say that, we only go up to M8 here (*^-^*)
And the other day I bought this die.
I used to love the Fuji Kiko Cadoal CK, but I accidentally dropped it with a 10R blade when I should have used an 8R blade, and both got damaged.
I figured I’d have to either replace the blade or send it in for repair… But I use this die almost every week, so I’m really stuck without it.
So
I checked the Fuji Kiko website…
So there’s a higher-end model too… the One-Touch Cadoal
Buying something like this brand new would be ridiculously expensive. Well, it’s not in the same league as the α7 IV ILCE-7M4… (´；ω；`)
So when I searched my favorite used machinery information department, there was just one available…
This one cost a fair bit, but finding used tools is basically about luck.
The inventory is so thin that I never know when I’ll find another one.
Go when you can. That’s life too…
There’s a saying about “breaking even,” but I sometimes wonder what “even” really means.
Some people only look at sales and profit generated against the amount spent on something.
Actually, the most important thing might be “being able to save time meaningfully.”
That’s why convenient tools exist. Computers and smartphones are the same.

I want to tell people more about how good this die is, but it’s so mundane it doesn’t really come across.
You can even use it with a hydraulic press…
The features of this product.
To put it simply you can rotate the blade to change the radius. And there are tons of options…
That’s it.
Until now, the lower receiver only had 4 radius patterns.
Even with those 4 patterns, changing the radius required bolts to be removed and reattached.
But this one… 9 patterns, just by releasing the lock lever to change them…
I wish I’d bought this from the start. It’s that good.
I found this gem because I accidentally broke the Cadoal CK.
Hmm, maybe breaking it was a good thing? I think so now.
I know the title and content are pretty far apart, but I have material—I just need to finish my homework first.
Plus, Decoboco’s YouTube view count is so bad that uploading or not uploading barely changes the revenue… = not uploading is better? I have that lazy feeling too.
