GSX-R750J early model look, inspection, chain, engine oil change, Deco-mainte

I haven’t had the power on the α7IV for ages (;∀;)

Both photos and video on the iPhone are incredibly convenient (*´ω`*)
Not that it’s amazing, but it’s “convenient”

Between doing oil changes and pad replacements and chatting, the afternoon flew by.

Let me make a little progress for now.

Oh! Just the wet-cell type I dislike.
The owner forgot, but there’s an upper cowl credit remaining
so we’ll offset it and replace the battery.

There’s barely any benefit to using a wet-cell battery.
It’s at the level where you should replace it urgently.

The tires are in fresh condition, so we’re good.
The J-model rear size of 4.50-17 is excellent.

As long as there are tire options, it should be fun.

There’s something nice about thin tires.

I see.
It might be an era of thin discs with thick friction material.
The FZ750 from the other day didn’t have a MIN marking, so I couldn’t tell,
but it was an era of front 4.5MM and rear 6.00

Front/rear 5.00 is fine too.

The outer doesn’t contact fully, soif you feel from the “areas that haven’t worn yet,”you can
easily tell how much it’s worn.

There’s a 4MM marking.
I think the “font” is stylish?Or is it just me…
Especiallythe “M”looks nice (*´ω`*)

This 750’s brake discs are really cool.
Round holes on the inner with tons of lightweight holes on the outer—perfection.

Bearings and wheel runout should be fine.

The axle shaft is fine too.

Let’s clean and rust-proof the front fork.
The right side might have a halo? or look a bit weepy?

so we’ll watch it for now

I cleaned the front caliper.
The piston action is fine. That’s the aluminum caliper for you.

The pin went deep…

The speed cable is probably discontinued. It might not be made anymore?
If you all lubricate it properly, you can use it indefinitely.

I’ve vented the fork to atmospheric pressure.

That’s all for today~ (*´ω`*)

(‘;’)Just replace that wet-cell battery~
