I realized later, but LiDAR is amazing!
I think it’s this bumpy part on the ceiling.
The first thing I noticed was how fast the mapping was.
When I watched its movements carefullythe contact with walls and objects is very soft

Because it has LiDAR, I’m guessing its spatial awareness is higher.
It hits walls with a soft touch. With Roomba, that would never happen—it’s bang, bang!

I was surprised by the size of the air filter!
With a filter this large, even the maintenance that tends to get neglected can last a long time.
I’m really grateful for that.
There’s also a foam filterunder the main filterso it should stay cleaner longer.
I think it’s a really well-thought-out robot vacuum.

This is the recently trendy mopping feature.
I have the impression it might get smelly, but I’m curious how it actually works. . .
My previous rental Roomba didn’t have this feature, so I’m actually looking forward to it(*´ω｀*)
Installation is with fine-mesh hook-and-loop fasteners, and the fit is excellent.
Just insert it into the textured slots and maintenance is excellent (*´ω｀*)

“things you should rent instead of own”is something to think about these days.
