The top cap is too long to remove
They didn’t loosen the top cap before sending it…
Well, it’s a Yahoo Auction item, so I guess that’s just how it goes.
I don’t have a 32mm deep socket like this, so I bought one.
It’ll probably come in handy for something down the road.

Today I tried using the included attachment. *The collar has a hole in it, but that’s intentional
If you’ve disassembled an inverted fork before, you kind of get it, right?
The system requires a hole in the collar to lower it.
With this KOWA Fork Spring Compressor 2, you can push it down without drilling a hole.
Since it’s a split design and the pressing position can shift, you can usually recover from most situations.
I’d say it’s probably the most convenient among what’s currently available.

If they’d just sent the fork first, the workflow would’ve been smoother…
