Today was strange weather. It rained pretty hard this morning, then suddenly stopped and cleared up? Or got cloudy?
I quickly got the inspection done this afternoon.
I changed the engine oil. This time it’s SHELL ADV-U4T 10W-40 (‘ω’)ノ
The sidestand that has to be removed every time you do anything. A quick-detach design is wonderful! ♪
This kind of part is perfect for repurposing as a quick-detach sidestand.
You have to be careful to make sure the surfaces sit flat against each other, or the mounting bolts will bend.
Time for the inspection, so I checked the exhaust emissions… and got wonderful numbers.
There’s basically no exhaust? Double shock (/ω)
I disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated the lever area.
When the fairing was on, something felt off. When I took it off, I found it had transformed into a very artistic shape. The threads are completely stripped too… ( ；∀；)
I wonder what people usually do in this situation?
Ignore it and bolt it back together. Order a replacement part (but delivery takes forever). Force it on with a nut setter.
Fix it up, install a helicoil, and it’s all good! (*^-^*)
After that, I’ll replace the chain and we’re done!
