I wanted to work on the switch wiring, but I couldn’t concentrate at all…
Somehow we managed to get it sorted and I’m relieved!

We’re going to install hazard lights! Daytona makes an excellent turn signal relay.
Daytona’s LED-compatible turn signal relay is the best.
With 2 pins, you can usually just swap it out directly.
Stock-style rubber mounts that work both vertically and horizontally
Supports up to 100W so with a conduction-type hazard system, this alone handles everything making it super convenient.
If you’re unsure about which turn signal relay to choose, you can’t go wrong with this one!

The key is making sure the spade terminals don’t come out! Insert with a flathead screwdriver.
I’m keeping the wiring short (*´ω｀*)
It’s sad when spade terminals come loose during insertion… If you’re worried, run some solder to make them one piece!
First, the spade terminals alone won’t fall off.
For the base of the male spade terminal cover, I use 3:1 heat shrink tubing .
You don’t need that much waterproofing. It improves insulation and work efficiency.
When inserting, push the tab in with a flathead screwdriver and it reduces strain and improves reliability.
We’re sending the sprocket cover out for painting!
Ideally a new one… but of course it’s discontinued.
I’ll clean it up and send it out for painting.

We’re also doing an overhaul of the clutch release.
The starter motor uses body ground! We’re polishing it to a shine.
I’m polishing both the case side and the starter motor side thoroughly.
It won’t be a dramatic difference, but it should definitely improve reliability…
Polish it up and it should spin nice and strong .
I’ve also replaced the O-rings.
We’re also replacing the generator harness
First, we polished it up.
We believe that hidden areas are our job, and visible areas are the owner’s job.
When you clean and assemble things, it just feels better.
Pre-order bonus? Generator harness.
That’s quite a niche part… impressive.
We replaced it, but it turned out we didn’t need to.
Without a proper soldering iron, you might not be able to remove or attach it.
I had a bit of a struggle…
We’re replacing the handlebar switches
We’re using these two parts to replace both left and right switches.

We’ve completed the replacement like this (*´ω｀*)
The hazard is a conduction-type so it’s self-contained in the switch. Only change the relay.
The right side has a stopper issue so be careful. *If you don’t set it, you won’t be able to take up the throttle play.
The old switch has “a stopper on the switch side.”
The new switch has “a long throttle cable guide that acts as a stopper.”
Extending the guide isn’t practical, so we’ve installed an M5 helicoil on the switch side to create one.
The switch side needs drilling and countersinking so it’s a bit of a high bar, so be careful.
