Now, I often get asked about charging while a smartphone holder is attached.
Basically, I was in the no-charging camp, so
I’d never seriously thought about it. Sorry about that.

When I think about going for a bike ride, I wonder if having one would be convenient? That’s what I thought.
But basically, I hate the hassle of plugging and unplugging
and frequent plugging and unplugging damages the connectors.

It would be nice if you could charge wirelessly and the attachment/detachment was easy.
In that context, an amazing product came out from Quad Lock, so I installed it.

For those with multiple bikes, you can easily swap it between them

As I’ve said many times, the freedom of a ball mount is incredible.
You should try to attach it in an easy-to-see, good position as much as possible.

Various products are out there, but
I think many of them don’t turn out as shown in the promotional images, so be careful.

I use this clamped together with the mirror.
The mirror is M10, but since the RAM mount is loose, it has about a 10mm hole.
The angle is very quirky and offers great flexibility.
The slight angle is really nice.

This REC Mount 62mm arm is exceptionally excellent.
It’s hard to convey, but there are almost no arms that can move in four directions.
Don’t think everything is the same! Please definitely use this arm.

Also, if it’s too long it’s not good, so I think this 62mm is really great.

Normal arms cannot move in four directions like in the image above.
Even though they seem to move freely, they have almost no flexibility.

It can move in four directions on both the smartphone side and the mirror holder side.

In other words, combinations like those shown in the image become possible, so
you can really lay it out in the good position you want.

There’s a very similar product for bikes, so don’t get confused.

This marine/bike version is so excellent, let me explain it briefly.
First, the waterproofing is one level above the standard bike version.
This doesn’t really matter, but the connection works with 12V to 24V.

Generally, you connect a USB cable to the wireless charger, right?
With the marine/bike version, you can charge just by connecting to power and ground.

Hmm? Still not clear?
Basically, you don’t need a USB port outlet and a short USB cable.
And you can easily route the power and ground wires as you like, making it possible to lay everything out neatly and cleanly.
This is a really amazing hidden gem product, I think.

Still not clear? This is how you remove it instantly

If you have a D unit connected to the bike frame,
you can run the power and ground to the handlebar area and it’s transferable to all your bikes.

You can detach it in just a few seconds, so even if you’re worried about theft, you can quickly remove it.
If you have a ball mount on the bike side,
and run the power and ground to the handlebar area, you can transfer it instantly.

Surprisingly, a lot of people have USB cables all wrapped up

By the way, I also have the Quad Lock vibration mount connected.

The wiring and appearance are so clean and cool,
I don’t think there’s a mount that offers both transferability and angle flexibility like this.
This marine/bike wireless charging Quad Lock is really amazing.

I’m always told “Wow, does it really cost that much?” but there’s nothing I can do about it.
Cool and convenient things cost money.

I think this marine/bike wireless charging adapter
isn’t very popular, so inventory seems limited.
If you’re interested in wireless charging, I really think it’s great, so I recommend it.
