I’ve been a bit out of touch due to moving and administrative procedures (*´ω｀*) Things have gotten a bit fuzzy, so I’d like to restart my blog.
There are still many parts of the moving boxes that I haven’t finished organizing. But when I’m just organizing all day, I do get tired of it. I need to report on what’s been happening “Did you run off with the crowdfunding?” It would be tough to be thought of that way. So, I’d like to gradually update my blog for the first time since coming to Chiba.

It’s a completely rectangular box, so I think it’s a fairly easy shape to use. However, no sunlight comes in at all“Mood-wise it gets dark” I don’t know what the next rent will be, but I think this kind of tenant property in Meguro Ward is quite rare.
I rented this tenant space in 2011. Yes, the year the Great East Japan Earthquake happened. No gasoline was being sold, no food at convenience stores, *spicy ramen was left. In that situation, I decided on my own that running a motorcycle shop was not the time for it and made the decision to relocate. You can only get a tenant space through luck. “Rent, shape, and neighboring conditions”I think you need to decide on these to some extent yourself. Basically“rectangular”and“the long side is the entrance”might be good for usability. I set up the new factory that way for my own convenience.

Pets allowed! The challenging rental situation
In the worldpet-friendly rental properties are quite difficultand we moved into this property out of necessity.
We lived in this propertyfor about 3 years. The contract speed for pet-friendly rental properties was abnormally fast, which surprised me at the time. The neighbors were so noisymy wife kicked the wall and made a hole… However, the owner was quite reliable and was the type to provide almost all new equipment, so we lived without any trouble and felt secure.
Moving: Sakai? Arc, but I mistakenly called Art?
I asked Sakai to handle this move (*´ω｀*) The sales staff’s response was really good. The sales person doesn’t actually move things“but human interaction is very important” Conversely, I think there are aspects that can only be decided there.
When I moved last time“Arc Moving Center” The muscular guys in blue uniforms looked fresh and made a good impression. This time I also wanted to ask Arc Moving Center, so I called them for an estimate at my home.
On the day of the estimate appointment when the person in charge came to my home and I received their business card“my wife elbowed me repeatedly” “This is Art! Art!” I had mistakenlycalled Art Moving Center 0123… Well, since I’d already called them“I should at least hear them out and get an estimate”so I proceeded with the conversation. If the content was good, that would be OK.
Still, I was amazed at how“unfriendly, apathetic, and high-handed”robotic the sales person was. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this kind of sales approach. I think if someone isn’t used to conversation, they’d be pushed into it. I asked about the flow of price and number of people “the price keeps getting cheaper? The reverse of a bike buying system?” Feeling this person’s response, no matter what conditions“I would never ask them”
Anyway, I“my motto is to not decide when in doubt”so goodbye for today! They even sent me a proper estimate email afterward, so I thought they’re doing their best~ that kind of feeling.
The next choice was“Sakai Moving”
Both the phone response and the sales staff’s in-person response were excellent!*Compared to our company After all“things are decided through connections between people”I felt that. The moving guys on the day were fresh and responsive, and I felt they were a wonderful moving company.
We moved from Tokyo’s Meguro Ward to Chiba (Outer Boso) “Recently there’s the problem of not having drivers who can operate trucks” apparently. I think it’s good to check with moving companies based on price and situation. Moving is definitely “Sakai Moving”
The threat of proliferating supermarkets and home centers
Supermarket
Within Mobara City, there are said to be around30 supermarkets. According to Homemade data, there are 32 stores, while another site shows 18 stores, so there are slight differences depending on the survey period and definition, but many supermarkets are scattered throughout.
Major supermarkets include Taiyo, Business Super, Besia, Kasumi, Sendou, and Mammy Mart.
Home Center
Within Mobara City, there are stores such asCainz, DCM (formerly Homax, etc.), and Astro Products, with multiple locations. DCM has two confirmed locations: “DCM Mobara Store” and “DCM Mobara Takashi Store”.
Around Mobara Station and throughout Mobara City, there may also be small community-oriented home centers besides these stores.
Including the surrounding Chosei District and Oamishirasato City, stores likeKomeri and Nafcoare also available.
An abnormal number of supermarkets and home centers are proliferating relative to the population. You really have plenty of choices with so many stores. Restaurants
There’s no particular crowding and it feels like a place you can easily visit. I’d like to explore various places in the future.
What I felt moving to the countryside? nature?
That said “I’ve been coming here for 2 years, so there’s not much to be surprised about”was the case.
If you’re thinking about moving to the countryside it might be better to visit for years to experience the four seasons.
Residential preferences are“divided into urban and rural types”I think. I’m completely rural. Well, I’ve only been living here for about 3 days, so I can’t say anything grandbut so far it’s the best.
There’s a factory next to my house, and I was quite surprised on the first night. “I can’t see my feet or anything”
I hadn’t particularly found darkness inconvenient before“but it’s way too dark” I was honestly quite scared.
Wow! A house that looks like it could be in 007 *self-praise
I bought my house 2 years ago but had never spent a night there. When I first saw it from outside at night, I was moved by the balance of darkness and brightness.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a single house standing alone in pitch-black darkness, truly the best.
It feels like I’m living in a vacation home. If the morning is sunny, the environment is truly wonderful.
Life’s in the final stretch! I’m the type who wants to achieve what I can do and what I’m able to do, and live a meaningful life. For example, before I die “I wish I had done that~”I think having fewer of those regrets leads to higher satisfaction. While the possibilities and environment are limited, I think the recently trendy dual-location lifestyle could be interesting too?
Reconsidering your life and adjusting it in a meaningful direction can be fun. So this is the first blog post about moving to Chiba.
