Actually since 2016! XSR900 Inspection Oil, Fluid, and Coolant Exchange

Yamaha is quite a rare breed at our shop.
I think we have fewer than 20 in total.

This is an inspection and fluid replacement job (*´ω｀*)

I went for the inspection at Sodegaura Testing Center this morning

If inspections pile up too much, the Town Ace van might struggle…

I didn’t expect that many inspections or jobs to come in…
but it seems things won’t be that easy.

Even with the XSR 900, I can’t load it without removing the mirrors, so lately I’ve been thinking it’s a bit of a hassle.

I was pointed out that the reflector area was insufficient.
They said it was short by 1 cm².

I realized there are surprisingly meticulous people out there.
It seems like we shouldn’t take things too lightly.

The more times you get inspected, the higher the chance you’ll encounter a detail-oriented inspector.

The gritty dirt from rainy day riding left for a while is left untouched

It’s faster to leave it untouched, soften the dirt, and wipe it off.
Often when you spray water, it doesn’t come off even after it dries.

Before you get back pain! Please introduce a motorcycle lift

Not having to squat is the biggest benefit.
Should we increase the shop’s effective floor space? Or gradually wear out our bodies?

For shops with limited floor space in urban areas, it’s a bit difficult to introduce.
But if you want to continue long-term before your knees and back break down, introducing one is definitely worth it.

I didn’t use a lift for quite a long time because I wanted floor space.
But once I actually started using a lift“How wonderful this is!”
You might be more impressed than with any machine tool.

When you start thinking about motorcycle lifts, there are so many options your head starts to hurt.
*By the way, both of mine were gifts. I’m planning to treat them to dinner soon (*´ω｀*)

I forgot to take photos of the coolant replacement.

I’ll replace the brake fluid with Golden Cruiser DOT4.
By the way, we ran out of stock right when I replaced the rear.

But it should arrive tomorrow, so I’ll continue with the work.
