I’m kind of doing it by “deciding when a major earthquake will come and working toward that date”. It’s like giving myself a kick in the pants. Honestly, it’s tedious and costs both time and money, so working a regular job seems easier. But after seeing the recent Mindanao earthquake, “if this hits, the shelves will collapse and things will fall”I imagined the factory would become a complete disaster.
By the way, “I’m assuming a major earthquake hits on 7/11 (Seven-Eleven)”(*´ω｀*)

It has a somewhat unusual shape, doesn’t it? This is a bit pricey, but “it guarantees near-perfect results.”
From my experience, drywall anchors are generally not very good. They don’t survive repeated use or they pull out. Mass-market anchors give the impression of “one-time use only, no reuse.”
This is what the installation looks like. To explain it simply: “Drill a 10mm hole, insert it, and push it in.” It uses the holding power of a cable tie while the claws dig in firmly and the base is secured to the surface.
Installation is truly simple! Reusable and securely finished
① The arrow shows the insertion direction, so fold it in the opposite way.
Technically there’s a vertical and horizontal orientation depending on the direction you want to secure, but “you don’t need to worry too much about it.” ② From here, just the red sleeve goes behind the drywall.
③ Once the red sleeve drops behind the wall, “just pull the gray cable tie.” The white plastic part also has claws that dig in.
This is the finished state. You don’t need to pull the cable tie excessively. The front and back claws are already digging into the drywall.
You can fold it out if needed, but cutting with nippers is faster.
It’s also great that 4.5-5.0mm tapping screws can be used. The screw tightness feels solid, so it’s reassuring.
The benefits of this earthquake-prep project. With increased floor space, “space for 3 motorcycles”has been secured. This is wonderful…… Maybe I can safely add more off-road bikes?
