NSR250 vs CBR600F4i vs V-MAX1200. A little repair and modification work. Not really a versus thing, though

Apparently the flange cracked when it was dropped.
I was wondering if that could really happen, but it’s cracked so it must have.

Anyway, I’ll get started on the repair.
First I’ll tack weld it in this state,
then I’ll open up the crack properly with a micro rotary tool before doing the final weld.

I got it welded up solid like this.
I was originally planning to patch it, but I think it’s strong enough so I’ll just deliver it as is.

This is a request from someone who loves the Devil but is troubled by how loud it is.
Installing one of those sketchy Amazon silencers (the one I mentioned before).

Apparently various things are interfering slightly and it won’t fit right, so I’ll do a little modification work.

I’ll check the insertion first before cutting it.

So I just cut it roughly and made it look pretty straight.

And there we have it, the insert is all set!
This should make it quite a bit quieter, hopefully?

This is a request to install something like a smart monitor.
We want it to be as hassle-free as possible with good workability and solid mounting.

After thinking it over and over, by process of elimination, there’s only one option.

I quickly cut, pried, and drilled to get everything set up.
Good prep work means fewer mistakes, or so they say.
Now I’ll combine the stainless steel pipe and plate I prepared.

It’s set up like this so it co-fastens with the tank’s M6 mount.

There’s no problem at all even when turning the handlebars left and right.
I also made it flexible for angle adjustment in the front-to-back direction.

Just in case, when it’s lowered all the way, there’s a possibility the bolt could contact the tank, so I put some clear squishy material on it.
