What if we could somehow attach wheels to make both movement and operation easier?

It arrived incredibly quickly, which was a huge help.
It arrived during yesterday’s typhoon, and I opened it, inspected it, and installed it the next day.
The box that arrived was incredibly small—I was shocked.
It was a modular design. I was shocked by how small the box was.
The plate material is made of duralumin with a thickness of 6.2mm.
It’s quite sturdy and solid.
I also purchased a wheel attachment that moves freely to go with it.
After performing various inspections, I’ll deburr and chamfer before assembling.
The structure is very simple, so there shouldn’t be any mistakes during assembly.
Of course, they use inch bolts and nylon locks, which took a bit of effort.
The wheel position changes how well the brush works
The wheel size is 150mm in diameter. Both the holes and bolts are in inches.
The wheel position is
the lower it goes, the more the brush floats, reducing resistance and making it lighter. The cleaning power decreases.
Conversely, the higher it goes, only the brush makes contact, so the resistance becomes heavier.
It’s very difficult to adjust this balance with the included accessories.
I want to replace them with items available in Japan to make wheel attachment and adjustment easier.
Taking care of this initial work makes maintenance much easier later on.
What I found worked best was the second position from the bottom on the front side.
It’s good to set up the wheels so you can adjust them easily depending on the situation.
Also, if you change the wheel diameter, you might see even more variation.

Rolling is fine, but you should use it in a way that doesn’t put stress on the shaft.
Basically, it’s best to operate it by just pushing and pulling.
The shaft fixing base is made of plastic and is free enough not to move.
At first I thought it wasn’t very sturdy, but I think it’s intentionally designed to move freely.
That’s because the surface you’re cleaning isn’t always flat.
Think of it as wheels that fit freely to match the ground.
The angle changes how well the brush works, so make sure to fit it properly
The more you raise the shaft angle, the better the brush works.
Decide where the wheels should be positioned based on what’s most comfortable for you. Also, adjust while keeping in mind the resistance you feel when moving it.
So what’s it actually like? “Dramatically improved!”
I haven’t used it for long today, but it’s definitely good.
How do I put it? It finally feels normal.
I can move it back and forth like I’m using a stick vacuum, so it’s become incredibly comfortable.
Next, I’ll try cleaning areas where soil and fallen leaves have accumulated and give you another review.
If you thought this Makita product was disappointing, don’t give up yet.
There aren’t many rotating brushes this huge,
so improve it to make it easier to use and put it to good use.
