Failure is not an option. That’s why preparation is crucial (*´ω｀*)

I bought air cleaner boxes for both the GSF1200 and Inazuma 1200.
I wanted to know the pitch and diameter & do a trial fitting as well.

Oh right, that’s right…
The GSF1200’s BST36 funnel side was egg-shaped.

Well, since the other side is rubber, I’ll go with round!

I’ll research the numbers and visualize them on a board (*’ω’*)

I realize here that it’s not actually symmetrical left and right… The air cleaner box is split-type, so that’s natural.


Thinking about how to remove this cleanly and easily… took several hours

After thinking about it all night, I came up with an idea.

The plan: attach a sharpened pipe to a grooving cutter and go at it.

As expected… the heat doesn’t transfer at all…
So I’ll heat it up with a gas burner and melt it.
