Now let’s get started on the BST36 installation setup (´ー｀)

The carb + intake manifold will tell you the necessary dimensions

Interestingly, the BST36 is actually shorter (*´ω｀*)

Suzuki is a fascinating manufacturer “They determine carb pitch and layout through the intake manifold”
In other words poor compatibility = aftermarket parts are hard to come by you see.

As you can see, the carb pitch is completely different, so I need to be careful. *Especially the 1200 series is a pain.

Actual measurements! ( *´艸｀)

I laid newspaper on the table, so these are rough measurements.
BST36=122mm CVK32=127mm or so.
BST36=-5mm so there’s more room in the layout.
This is all going as planned.

Throttle cable and choke cable cannot be reused

The inner is super short so I can’t use it.
I could remake the inner, but… I don’t want to do 6 ferrules.
I’ll use a replacement wire for the GSF1200.

I just had to give it a try…

I dug through the trash… (Trash stockpile)
I’ve already figured out a rough way to join them, so that’s good.

I’d be grateful if it just runs as is.

I’m having some weird fantasies too… Wouldn’t a BST40 be interesting too?
It’s hard to get, but there’s also a BST38 *GSX-R750
