Plug codes really do make a difference! Subtly
Suzuki’s coils are terrible, so I don’t want to replace the wires.
*Denso-made
The aura of “don’t touch me” is overwhelming
“Permanently installed”
This time it’s some mysterious cable, so I’m replacing it because it’s scary (*´ω`*)
Novel and yet! Scary? The transparent cable feels fresh?

Hmm… it’s new…
The visibility is the best…
I replaced the plug cap with NGK, and the maintainability is subtly worse.

Foreign aftermarket parts are hot!
The concept is fresh, so I find myself staring at it.
If you search the world “There might be worlds you’ve never seen”
perhaps.

So I swapped out the wires and labeled them with P-TOUCH.
It’s P-TOUCH, not Tepra.
P-TOUCH = Brother’s product.
For motorcycle use, P-TOUCH is the best!
Tips for attaching to surfaces that don’t stick well
Stick the tape to itself
Print it long and wrap it! This way you won’t fail.

As expected, imported new? Super dirty…
Including the importer, there’s no love left…
That’s just how it is.

By the way, one of the nuts is bent (it still works)
Probably
the caliper came loose and spun around…
One side has a fully threaded stud.

For now, I’ll keep using what works.
This time is about identifying problem areas.

The seizing is extreme (*´ω`*)
They asked me to replace the support seal, so I’m removing it.
That’s quite a punch, isn’t it?

Finished it off with a pshhh~ and replaced the oil seal.
I’ll say it again, if it’s in clean condition
“The oil seal goes in by hand”
Well, if it doesn’t go in, tap it.
*Don’t use a box

The wheel bearing is still usable but worth considering replacement
The wheel itself is tired too, so if you’re going to restore it, it’s good to do it along with repainting.

The front wheel is bent in one spot, but not problematically.
The rear had no issues.

The axle shaft can be reused, but it had a lot of rust.
I painted the head anyway.

The rear caliper condition is quite sharp…
Unfortunately, it’s a no-go (;∀;)
The piston won’t retract much, so
when I loosened the nipple, the fluid was brown…
Hmm…

Huh? The right caliper is loose?
And there were no threads… shocking.

The front caliper is also in bad condition… the threads are questionable too.
Replacing it is the wise choice rather than overhauling.

We shouldn’t be doing this when we’re replacing it.
We can clean it up instantly, so that’s good (*´ω`*)

Bent claw (*´Д`)
When I remove the front wheel on any bike, I
“speed gear” as a single unit and assemble the wheel.
This reduces ambiguity during assembly.
With the wire attached,
it’s harder to notice something feels off
to increase the chances of not making mistakes…

When the claw bends, all the seals wear out?
And it becomes low-friction without fail.
If you apply grease, it scatters, so it’s always dry… which seems sad.
Speedometer Gear 54600-17C01 ¥15,300…
Makes you want to say “Is this a foreign car?!” about Suzuki…
Well, let’s cherish each part.

Overall, it’s quite a sharp finish.
Probably the dirtiest one this year…
Well, the current owner isn’t at fault, so it can’t be helped (;∀;)

Suzuki requires you to cherish each individual part to survive.
Honestly, don’t try to ride an old Suzuki as a new owner…
It’s definitely “no future”
Unless you’re okay with unlimited expenses…

I replaced the spark plugs too.
With a 9… a 10 might be overkill for the era…
