Used bikes and parts are always decreasing in absolute quantity—that’s just how it is.

The duplex is on the outside!!!!
I think I’ve only ever seen hand-bent titanium cyclones like this on the old GSF1200.
Why did they mount it on the outside for this model…?
But it looks cool!
Since it’s used, the silencer has some damage.
I tried polishing it a bit with a “dual action” polisher….
Well, I think this is good enough…
I’d like to do a little more repair work on it.
I really hate this kind of work, so I set a “1-hour” limit and just power through it.
Surprisingly, the dents cover a pretty wide area, so
if you really get into it, it becomes super tedious and turns into a full day’s work.
Time passes… “1 hour later”
That’s it, I’m done. Compared to where it started, it’s come back to life quite a bit.

The Zephyr 550 doesn’t even have a license plate yet.
Of course I haven’t ridden it either, so it’s something to look forward to! ♪
