Originally, I bought this for a Makita dust collector.
Dust collectors get crazy static electricity this time of year.
The dust clings due to static electricity, so even wiping doesn’t remove it—it’s really annoying.
Spray this on and “Wait, that’s weird?”
“Hold on. This could work on motorcycles too, right?” That’s the kind of thinking that led me here.
It doesn’t have to be Trusco.
I just picked it because it’s a brand I know. That’s the only reason.

Since it’s a dry type, you can spray it and leave it as is, or lightly wipe it off on visible areas if you prefer.
In winter, static electricity on motorcycle resin parts gets really bad.
