Do you use label makers?
When you think of label makers, King Jim’s “Tepra” comes to mind, right?
Actually, Brother’s P-TOUCH is far superior. You’ll feel the difference once you’ve used it.
I use the P900W, which is almost semi-professional grade.
I thought this might not be ideal for general consumers, so I’d like to suggest two alternatives.
Why P-TOUCH instead of Tepra?
• No adhesive residue (color) left after peeling
• Chemical and solvent resistant – text won’t fade even with acetone
Honestly, just these two points.
There are other interesting tapes available, but since they’re not mainstream, I’ll skip them.
Take my advice – you should definitely choose P-TOUCH.
The best choices are either the “PT-P710BT” or “PT-P300BT”
First, let me introduce the “PT-P300BT”
The PT-P300BT is smartphone-only compatible. It’s affordable and easy to use.

This is just my opinion, but I almost exclusively use 9mm size labels.
As for colors, 90% of the time I use yellow, occasionally black, and rarely other colors.
For me, as long as it can print 9mm, that’s all I need.

Usually the batteries are dead when you need it. And buying an AC adapter seems like a hassle too…
And then there’s the “PT-P710BT”
First, it can print up to 24mm width.
You rarely need that size, but having the capacity is better.

It’s a convenient feature when printing multiple labels, but honestly “I don’t print multiple labels that often.”
*Like labeling oil filters – that’s more of a business use case.
Includes Li-ion rechargeable battery This is great! ♪
The battery lasts well and is reusable – this is definitely the better choice.
Of course, this model is also compatible with smartphone apps, so there’s nothing to complain about.
Comparing these two options, I think Brother P-touch Label Maker PT-P710BT is the way to go.

I’m always printing something.
With this item, I can organize things without relying on memory and retrieve them easily.
On the bike side too “Shim thickness,” “Final drive ratio,” “Wiring type,” “Ignition coil +/-,” “Battery start date” – all sorts of things.
It’s durable, leaves no adhesive residue when peeled off, and is chemical and solvent resistant.
Tepra is a bit weaker – it really feels like an office tool.
For both offense and defense, P-TOUCH is the sure bet.
