So, this “Makita MUB187DZ Cordless Blower Dust Collector”
I’ve been using it almost every day without any hassle.
Taking out the unit, emptying the trash, and the final cleanup are tedious, right?
It won’t eliminate the hassle entirely, but it makes things considerably easier, I think (*’ω’*) Please refer to this.
First, “Get a drawstring-type laundry net”
I use this as a dust collection bag.
It’s inexpensive, the bag is easy to clean, and dust doesn’t tend to remain. Plus, the dust collection seems quite powerful.
Not every time.
Before cleaning, spray the unit with an anti-static spray and wipe it with a cloth.
This makes it considerably harder for dust to stick to the unit. It’s quite effective.
If you have the budget, Makita Wide Nozzle A-75524 is also good to get at the same time.
Now let’s clean.
For areas with sand and soil like this, it’s good to either suck it up with the STD nozzle or blow it away with the blower.
The wide nozzle is convenient for tiles and wall edges.
Attachment and detachment are surprisingly tedious, so it’s good to set it up according to your cleaning situation.
As for the dust collection bag,
“At this amount, you can just tie the drawstring and keep it outdoors” is also fine.
At this level, a 45L bag won’t be completely full.
Reducing the number of times you empty the trash makes things easier, and you can dispose of plenty at once.
While stored, the fallen leaves also dry out and might be surprisingly clean.
Also, you could buy multiple “drawstring-type laundry nets” and swap them out each time, then transfer the fallen leaves to a 45L trash bag when they accumulate.
I think you’ll find fallen leaf cleaning, which you dislike, becomes easy and enjoyable. If you clean frequently, this is a super highly recommended item.
