Well then,
the bike started acting up on the way back from a tour and has been running rough ever since.
I thought it might not be anything serious, but… reality turned out to be less forgiving than I hoped.
I’ll remove and clean the tank.
The spark plug condition isn’t too bad.
The compression is low, but it’s there, so the engine should be fine.
Just to be safe, I’ll install a fresh spark plug and check the spark!
The vacuum hoses are cracked and brittle, so I suspect secondary air was being drawn in from around there too.
I charged the battery and it’s running perfectly now! ♪
