In practice, by skillfully using those entry and exit points, you can cruise quite a distance for touring.
First, search using the fare and route guidance ( *´艸｀)

In my case, I use Sangenjaya (entry) to Shibuya (exit). That’s 280 yen.
The simplest way? It’s good if the exit is available on both directions.
The explanation gets long and somewhat tedious, so I’ll skip the details.
Check the price, decide on the entry and exit interchanges
Then build a loop route
Leaving from Sangenjaya and going all the way to Daikoku PA, taking a break, and heading back—still 280 yen.
Cheaper than a one-way trip on the Dai-3 Keihin, and it’s fun if traffic flows smoothly (‘ω’)ノ
Experts stretch the distance much further, but I only go as far as I can make a round trip in about an hour and get back quickly.
Cruising the expressway casually, watching the night view, and taking a break along the way—that’s a refined way to enjoy it.
A privilege of living in the metro area? A final oasis? Cruising without raising water and oil temperatures, watching the night view, and heading home—I think this kind of enjoyment won’t last much longer. . . If you get the chance, please enjoy it!
