The reason things came to a sudden halt was…
I disassembled it and then ordered the parts, but…they don’t match up.
These days, you can’t disassemble first and then order parts. If it’s a bit older, you get stuck.

I’ll work on just the rear caliper that can be assembled.
Same issue here—the piston kit for the external dust-type rear caliper is discontinued.
I thought maybe going without dust seals and going aluminum would have been okay, but it’s better to keep the adventure to a minimum.
As I mentioned before, I found one.

The piston kit contents from the GSX1100S series can be used.
Please note that only the pistons and oil seals are usable.

It’s reassuring to check all the OEM parts beforehand.
You can assume human error is always in play. (Myself included.)

I switched the bolts to Honda OEM.
Cheap and cool!
When asked about the strength grade,
these bolts have no marking, so I can’t answer.
By reverse-checking the application, we’re good. And lately, I feel like I’m not seeing many low-strength bolts anymore. What do you think?
The front is still on hold. It should work out somehow.
