Now let’s get ready for the inspection…
HC at 5000 PPM???
That can’t be right… Did the tester break?
Ah, so that’s how it turned out…

Comparing the mileage on the inspection certificate with the current mileage… it hasn’t been driven much at all.
I’ll go ahead and replace all the fluids. I forgot to take a photo of the clutch (‘ω’)ノ

This photo is after it came down…
For this model year, the limits are CO at 4.5% and HC up to 2000 PPM.
When I checked with the tester, it was over 5000 PPM, nearly reaching 6000?
The oil level wasn’t rising either.
No matter how much I adjusted the PS or let the secondary air suck directly, the numbers wouldn’t change…
What’s this? Hold on… I removed the oil filler cap
sniff sniff (*’▽’) sniff sniff (*’▽’)
It was overflowing, so it’s all mixed together… gasoline in the oil…

Water-like oil came out… and it smelled like gasoline.
So I changed the oil. Shell Advance Ultra 4T 15W-50

Looking closely at it… the hose was routed in an incredibly unbelievable position.
I secured it with a cable tie.

I don’t like drain plugs with big heads…
I replaced it with a genuine Suzuki magnetic drain plug.

Ah, it came down!
If I hadn’t investigated this, we would have been in a real bind at the inspection station.
That was close!
