Well, it looks perfect… but I accidentally ordered the wrong size for the M8—60 mm instead. Why???
For some reason, the TPS kept breaking off, so I’m replacing it.
By the way, the TPS costs around 12,300 yen.
I thought Kawasaki might be cheaper, but it was about the same price.
I’m making a harness so we can measure with confidence.
Having one versus not having one makes a big difference in speed.
The Inazuma 1200 manual doesn’t mention it, but the GSX1200S manual has TPS adjustment instructions. When you just install it, it usually comes out in about the right position anyway. There shouldn’t be any major deviation.
No matter how many times I check, it won’t fall within the adjustment range.
I started wondering if I’m just an idiot.
At full throttle, the reference resistance is 76% (about 3.8Ω), and here’s what it looks like when both are set to the same resistance value and lined up.
The angles are completely different…
It won’t fall within the setting range unless it gets to this point.
