It’s exciting when it snows after such a long time.
I cleared the snow from in front of the shop and off the truck starting in the evening.
If it snowed every year, I’d buy one of those engine-powered ones, but…
With a leaf rake, you can move powder snow pretty easily.

It’s a rather unusual brush.
I basically bought it to collect fallen leaves from street trees.
Tools really are German engineering… I think to myself wistfully (*’ω’*)
Rather than collecting things finely, it’s more of a sweeping-it-all-up kind of feel. All at once! might be the right way to describe it. I use it when there are lathe chips too.
And the color is just lovely.
The characteristic feature of this brush is that the bristles curl at the tip, which is what makes it collect so well.
When more snow came today, I tried sweeping with this thing, and it was surprisingly powerful! One generous stroke and you get a good amount. As long as the snow hasn’t hardened, you can collect it.
After all this snow, I’m thinking maybe once a year is enough…
