[Thoughts] Organize: when it increases, reduce. This is important

If cleaning and organizing feel good, I could keep doing it forever without getting tired.
But this is the same—once I start thinking about it, I get stuck. I think, “I want to make this,”
then worry about materials,

There’s no end to it. I recommend starting with the simplest sorting.

The end of the year is drawing near. Why not start preparing for your big year-end cleaning?

Keep or discard, necessary or unnecessary—that’s all there is to it.
Depending on the item, “maybe I’ll use it someday” usually means you won’t. That’s different from keeping stock.
When you think about your possessions in terms of weight and volume, the numbers become staggering.

I have items I’m unsure about too. For those, create a storage box, write the date on it, and put them in. The next time something goes in, check that date—if a year has passed, dispose of it and travel light.
It helps to think: if things decrease, you can add something, or if you add something, you should remove something.
Decide on a storage location using square containers that are easy to take out and put away. Just this alone boosts efficiency so much that you’ll find your life has more meaningful time to use.
