Looking back now, it doesn’t feel like that long ago.
Mounting a video camera on a GS1000S at Laguna Seca to record—thinking about it now, that was pure madness.
But riding the same GS1000S, I thought, “How can a bike become this sporty?”
By taking a production bike as a base, finishing it as a racer, and raising its potential, manufacturers were able to ignite the passion of buyers and fans.
It’s a video that looks great even watching it again after all this time.
The sound is excellent (though in reality it might be super loud!).
