Doesn’t look like an Inazuma 1200? GSX1200S Inazuma 1200 oil-cooled Katana inspection main harness replacement Deco-mainte

Today a high-pressure hose snapped and I lost about three hours…

It’s 20:41 now, so it should have been 17:41, and I’ve been thinking about that the whole time.
Well, let’s think positive…

I’ll continue steadily.

I also polished the pad back plate and cleaned it up nicely.
That’s when the hose snapped.

It’s a relief it happened before the carburettor (separate issue).

The pads will be replaced with RK-MAX.

I’ll replace all the parts around the rear caliper.

Let’s replace the air filter this time too.
I’ve marked it.

I cleaned and lubricated the control systems.
Smooth-operating controls feel really nice.

I also cleaned and lubricated the side stand.

The brake fluid has been replaced with Golden Cruiser DOT4.

After fluid replacement, fluid residue remains inside the nipple and on the threaded parts, so if you hold a rag over it and then clean with cleaner, I think you won’t damage the paint.

If fluid remaining on the threaded parts gets capped, I think it might bubble up from the pressure.

The spark plug was surprisingly dark, so I replaced it.

I also adjusted the synchronization a bit.

Sometimes even if the gauges match, there can be slight variations depending on the bike.
In those cases, I think it’s fine to adjust where the sound feels best.

Huh? The tachometer isn’t working.

Now that you mention it, that’s right… I thought to myself, come on, remember that already.
We’re almost done, just a little bit left.
