At any rate, I got the motorcycle inspection done.
Our headlight tester is a bit iffy with new light sources…
Sometimes we struggle with it.
But you know…RIZING2
this LED is in a class of its own. Even our old tester picks it up, and the luminous intensity is fantastic.
Our tester measured 35,000 CD, but at the inspection station it showed 50,000 CD.
*The passing standard is 15,000 CD or higher.
VERY GOOD—if you’re unsure,RIZING2 LED bulbis the way to go.
Check the exhaust gas with a CO/HC tester—one, two.
Since exhaust regulations started for motorcycles, I feel like the inspection situation for bike shops has changed quite a bit.
If only the exhaust gas fails on-site, there’s really nothing you can do about it. But exhaust gas testers are expensive, so…
The fact that there’s a whole category called inspection shops might be because there are so many failed inspections…
*Secondary air removal is occasionally checked, so if you’ve had it removed, be careful. Using it for pressure reduction might actually be more fun.
Anyway, I got the inspection done.
