It was backwards. (I matched the length to the negative side.)

We stock various caps that are easy to work with.
Changed from spade terminals to a connector on the generator—makes disconnection easier.
Wiring goes straight to the MOSFET without going through the harness—shorter wiring means fewer potential problems, maybe?
I used the starter lead wire from a Suzuki GSX-R1100 K-N series.
It’s nice and long.
Next I’ll try to find one from Honda.
When replacing the starter relay, I prefer to use the OEM starter lead.
It’s carefully equipped with a rotation-stop tab.
Honda offsets it slightly, so it’s a bit tedious.
The ground lead from a GS1200SS is a good length, so I’ll use that.
Flag-type terminals like this are pretty rare, aren’t they? Hard to find retail sources.
The main harness ground connection point also uses a connector.
We want to quietly boost safety.
After much deliberation, I finally figured out how to mount the fuse box.
That’s how I laid it out.
This is the Honda fuse check and replacement work from the other day.
If I can find this terminal… the possibilities are endless, maybe?
