The other day, I really improved convenience with a QuadLock and clamp adapter, but… I’m super lazy, and since there’s a lot of metal in the shop, I thought a magnetic base would be easier. So I whipped this up a few days ago. I’ll bend the 22φ T=2MM stainless steel pipe again with the bender. (By the way, this is the one I messed up on the side stand.) It’s a manual bender, but it’s quite excellent. I’ll introduce it on YouTube soon.
The pipe bend looks cleaner without wrinkles. It holds up even to close-up shots. Cut the SUS T=2MM, bend it, drill holes, weld it, and done. The bend is to prevent rotation. Finished! On newspaper it’s a bit shaky. On the set press it’s rock solid! This looks great. On the contour it’s very good! I’m starting to feel like there are still so many things in the world that could be made more convenient.
