Since it’s been repainted, welding is out of the question. This time I matched the outer and inner diameters of material that works with the aftermarket wheel damper, cut a groove, and used a pipe-to-pipe connection method.
It looks pretty sturdy.
Cigarette lighter and USB outlets. The problem is there’s no boss sticking out to bolt these to.
I used the same damper material, cut a slot, and clamped it in place—worked out great.
The chain rivet tool arrived today, so installation is complete. All that’s left is wiring and we’re done.
