I’m the type who wants to cut grass every day, but I haven’t been able to find the time (；∀；)
The vacant lot next door is completely unmanaged, so I volunteer to cut it occasionally. Lots of grass means it becomes a breeding ground for insects and animals, so it’s important to manage it with a good balance.
I cut with the Makita 40V MAX for the first time in a while, and it was so powerful and easily pulverized everything.
The slope of the vacant lot has some weeds growing.

The weeds around my house are so intense that at this point it feels like plucking a nose hair. Grass cutting is such a fun, healthy destructive activity to do in between other things.
I think this sense of exhilaration is something everyone can enjoy.

It all comes down to the 40VMAX. The power and torque are completely different. In other words, the trimmer itself covers difficult situations for you. I upgraded from 18V to 40V, and if you’re cutting a large area, the 40V is definitely more convenient.
I’m settled on the Darwin GRIP with an Oregon nylon cord attachment setup. If I had the budget, I’d really like to buy a top-tier engine-powered model and spin it around.
I keep watching grass-cutting reels on Instagram, especially from overseas.
