Nice washable type.
We’ve already replaced the seal once, so it’s operating in excellent condition. The metal rubber in the seal groove is working surprisingly well. With grease-based products, you tend to pick up a bit of moisture when washing, and they seem to degrade more easily than liquid types. If you’re using silicone grease or jam-like products, I’d recommend reconsidering and switching to metal rubber MR20.
The spark plug burn looked a bit off. There was an unnecessary issue, but that’s now resolved.
There’s no rear image, but we’ve replaced it. The fluid alone will gel up over time, so I’d really like you to replace it at least once a year.
I sometimes wonder about using DOT3 or similar when the bike isn’t being ridden…
Basic maintenance quietly pays off when you own a bike long-term. Use the parts you can keep using, watch their condition, and replace them as needed.
