Let’s disassemble the caliper.
Always inspect the pistons and seals. We’ve had cases where the wrong seals got mixed in before.
Inspecting this too gives you peace of mind.
It looks clean and sharp now. I forgot to photograph the severe condition before cleaning, but I’m happy with how clean it turned out.
We also replaced the handlebar and post, moving them forward for easier riding.
The grips are Kawasaki taper. With their Pirelli tire look, they’re pretty aggressive.
The step area looks clean too.
The GSF1200 has great customization potential with just the tank alone.
This time we excluded work on the swingarm area.
